Notice regarding the delay of international mail and tracking information for the Japan Post

According to information of the Japan Post, due to the global spread of the COVID-19 virus, measures as the suspension of acceptance of international mail have been taken.
Furthermore, the number of incoming and outgoing flights in and out of Japan has been drastically reduced, resulting in many routes of transportation being cut off at the moment.
As a result, a considerable delivery delay is expected for each country/region, as well as a delay in online updates of the delivery status.
This includes all delivery methods offered by the Japanese Post.
・ Regarding the handling status of mail in each country/region
・ Countries and territories to which acceptance of mail is temporarily suspended
I live in the United States of America / Australia / Canada. Am I concerned?
Unfortunately, the USA, Australia, and Canada are concerned by some restrictions.
It's possible to order as usual, but:
- the tracking service is not available anymore unless you use EMS service
- Small Packet and International ePacket shipping methods are temporarily suspended (read more)
In the case you choose the Small Packet option, you will have to wait until the resumption of the service. You can contact us to cancel your order at any time.
The country I live in has an X in the column "Letter Post / Air" or "Ordinary Mail / Air", what does that mean?
If the country you live in has an X in the column Letter Post / Air, it means that you're concerned by the suspension. You can order as usual and we will send your order as soon as the suspension of acceptance of international mail is removed. It may take weeks or months, unfortunately, we can't be sure about the delay.
For security reasons, we suggest you use a tracking number. This option is available when you choose the shipping method.
The country I live in has a ✔ in the column "Letter Post / Air", what does that mean?
If the country you live in has a ✔ in the column Letter Post / Air, it means that you're not concerned by the suspension. You can order as usual and we will send it to you as soon as possible.
Please note that it may take time for you to receive it (1 or 2 weeks). For security reasons, we suggest you to use a tracking number. This option is available when you choose the shipping method.
The country I live in is on the list, may I send my order somewhere else?
It's absolutely possible for you to send your order to a friend or a relative, as long as this person lives in a country that accepts international, in other words, if the country this person lives in is not on the list.
